![]() I have Civ 6 at home on my PC with all expansions and I love it. Not going to pay for this one for the phone, my time is more valuable than that. Poor design choice overall, but especially painful on an iPhone. The next is that for some weird reason they changed workers (for no good reason) and they are no longer automatable. I quickly swapped over to a web browser to look something up and when I switched back, it initiated the boot up sequence again - with no way to skip it. One of the first issues is that the game takes 60+ seconds to boot up. This may be a fine game on a computer with a large screen and mouse but it’s just not a good concept for mobile. I’m only 5 turns in and I just don’t want to play anymore. I’ve owned every civilization 1-5, this was my first foray into VI. I’m still skeptical about the builders but now that I can actually read about how they work on the web and switch back to the app I’ll give it a try. I managed to complete the 40+ turns of the demo and made the leap to purchase for $10. I recently tried this game again and it now seems to remember that I was actually playing and doesn’t go through the load screen every single time I switch to another app. All other trademarks and trade names are the properties of their respective owners.
